This is Monday, Nov. 3rd. we left Oceanside this morning traveling the coast hwy heading south came to the Mission Bay area of San Diego where we will spend the night.

This is Tuesday, Nov. 4th, voting day, yes we did vote and will find out who will be the next president tonight. Yesterday we made it to the Mission Bay area here in San Diego. This morning left there and following the beach front here where the shops are and the old wooden roller coaster. Traveling south of San Diego today. On Harbor Drive to National City Blvd which took us past  Chula Vista where we will be spending the night.

This is Wednesday, Nov. 5th, we are going to bury our 4th plaque today in the vicinity of San Ysidro, Ca. we traveled to Border Field Park here at the corner off of Monument Rd. in the very southwest corner of the United States. We have reached our fourth corner of the United States.

This is Monday, Nov. 10th, we spent the weekend in Phoenix for the graduation of Sandy's daughter, Stephanie, she is getting her Masters Degree. She is a very smart person and has worked very hard for this degree. Am very proud for what she has accomplished. This morning we have left the Jamul, Ca. area just off hwy 94 took some back roads to get to 94 and ended up at a county park just outside of Campo, Ca. Here we will spend the night.

This is Tuesday, Nov. 11th, Veterans Day, wish all veterans a safe veterans day today. We left Campo, Ca. this morning, continuing on hwy 94 and a short distance from town there is the Feldspar Mill. Built in 1925 by American Sanitary Manufacturing Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This mill was built to grind the Feldspar material mined in Hauser Canyon 5 mile west and trucked to this site. Feldspar is used to make porcelain pottery and glass among other uses. The Feldspar material was loaded into rail cars that went through the building and shipped to Richmond, Ca. There it was used to make bathtubs, sinks, and toilets. The mill was closed in 1949, The American Sanitary Manufacturing Company is still in business today as American Standard. Today the mill site is used by the Motor Transport Museum to house a collection of antique trucks, memorabilia and transportation industry information. I see here many old and strong trucks that use to be used of this area. Continuing on hwy 94 to Old Hwy 80 and followed 80 through plaster city and over to El Centro where we spent the night in an RV Park.

This is Wednesday, Nov. 12th, left this morning heading south and connected to hwy 98 and I will take hwy 98 east and continue towards Yuma, Az. About 20 miles outside of Yuma is the sand dunes where we spent the night and taking the next day off.

This is Friday, Nov. 14th, traveling this morning on Interstate 8 and also the side frontage road which is old hwy 80 and now I am at the establishment here called Center of the World. Somebody has created that this is the center of the world and if you will people will come. Have crossed the Colorado River and entered into the state of Arizona. We are now in the city of Yuma, Az. and we will spend the night and take a couple days off to prepare for the next section of our journey here. We have pretty much completed the circular trip around the United States and will begin on Monday as a return to our starting point to Las Vegas.
